Through rearing of local poultry, eggs are produced and sold in the local market to  provide funds for our support group members.

The birds can also be sold to boost their income and this is a viable project seeing that chicken rearing is a common activity found particularly in the rural areas of Kenya.

 

The chicken can also be upgraded to crossbreeds to improve their  growth rate and meat production.
