Benjamin and Jennie Ochieng

Disciples of Mercy was founded by Jennie Roberts, an Australian missionary who graduated with the 1984 class of Rhema Bible Training Centre in Perth. Jennie along with her two children, served the Lord in Sri Lanka for two years, and has been ministering since 1987 in Kenya, where she met and married Benjamin Ochieng of the city of Kisumu. Benjamin and Jennie head the Board of Directors for Disciples of Mercy Kenya.

 

Tobias and Natalie Odipo

Tobias and Natalie (daughter of Jennie) married in 1999 and together with their two children, administrate and coordinate the different projects Disciples of Mercy operates. Holding a bachelor of Commerce, Tobias sits on the board of Disciples of Mercy and is also the AFCM Zonal Coordinator for Africa. Natalie is the Board Secretary and the Director of Disciples of Mercy Academy. Both are ordained ministers and have a heart to spread the love of the Lord to all nations.

Michael Aduol

Michael Aduol has been with us since 2009 and heads up our Health Centre. Having  a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science and training and experience in  Home based Counseling and HIV testing, HIV & Nutritional management and project sustainability and management, he is a competent  team leader.

Titus and Millicent Archer

Titus and Millicent have served as branch work pastors for the last 5 years and are currently the pastors of Disciples of Mercy Family Church, Kisumu. Titus sits on the Board of Directors. Titus and Millicent’s heart is to reach out to the local community and minister hope to a dying world.

Lavina Achieng Oduor

Lavina is a Social worker and heads up our Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s (OVC)department. With a heart of compassion and empathy, she doubles as the field officer and assistant teacher in our Special Unit for challenged children.

Risper holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) Degree and has over 30 years teaching experience. Having served as a Deputy Principal and a Principal of a Private School for 12 years, she brings much wisdom and insight into education related issues for curriculum delivery. Risper is our High School Principal as well as the Manager for the entire Academy.
